During the last 10 years, researchers of the line of Vertebrate Paleontology (inside the research group GRICA) have been working for the loan of the paleontological material recovered on the coal mine of As Pontes (Oligocene-Miocene). In the summer of 2022 the council of As Pontes finally sent to us, first the bags with sediments of the different levels of the mine, and finally the macroremains (plants and animals).
